So, I've been hesitant to write this post, because I'm afraid it may change how some of you think of me and I respect and cherish all your friendships -- but it's something that you all really need to know

I'm just glad you're writing something! And if it's for another fandom, that's okay, too. You're a creative person and it does you no good to stay in the past when something up ahead is inspiring you.

I doubt I'll follow you to the Smallville fandom (I've never seen the show) - but I'm always interested in what you're doing. *hugs*

You did pretty much draw the short straw with your HP fics - Fred dying and George marrying Angelina (your version was so much better!), Neville and Hannah and Remus marrying Tonks. I'm not surprised you didn't continue writing Harry Potter stories. I don't know anything about Smallville but Mary is right, it's good you are writing.

I'm very glad to hear you are still writing, and enjoying it. Clearly your talents are being recognised over there. BTW, you are definitely NOT 'cheating' - you are merely 'expanding your horizons', LOL, and obviously bringing pleasure to other readers.

I've done that too, and am writing in a small, little known fandom now. Who cares - we just have FUN! :) (Which is what I thought we were supposed to be doing anyway)

You SCARED me! I thought all of my gut instincts about you being an honorable 'studette' were wrong when you declared you were a cheater, and I was scared to read further. Phew!

Yeah, I've moved on from HP as well, though I'm sticking with original as far as writing. There are new horizons out there! And I'm so glad you're excited about writing again - you have too much talent not to keep working on the craft.

I have never seen one episode of Smallville. I know nothing about it. But angsty and scarred hero sounds GOOD! I just might check it out. Keep having fun, Gabby. Guilt-free fun.
