Here's Hoping

The Admiral has off tomorrow, but the big kids still have school. I know he wants to 'get things done around the house.' (Of course, it's never the things I want done, but that's another story) -- I'm hoping that I just get a few minutes to myself to write that aren't after everyone's gone to bed and my brain is too much mush to work.

The Captain always finds important things to do when I have other priorities for him too!

And I so understand the late at night brain mush thing too, I think that's why my writing has stopped as I don't like any of my thoughts after 9pm.

Indeed, good luck to both of you in getting something done that each of you thinks is important.

Dear Oatmeal and I will cover the gazebo with the plastic sheeting as soon as he finds his power stapler. We are being told that we will have Indian Summer this weekend so I can still swim without something to stave off the blowing rain.

I got used to writing very early in the morning when my kids were school age. It was about the only quiet time I had.
