Helmet to helmet collision in the Steelers/Dolphins game and a Dolphin down - and they called in paramedics immediately. Like, while he's still down on the field. Before they brought the cart out. Who's the one person on your flist who watches football?

I'm watching. Of course, that's because Dave is watching, but just the same, they did score a touchdown really fast to start the game off, and I enjoyed watching it. I told Dave that I think that will be the last happy moment we have for the game. Off to do the dishes....

Whoops, two. I was thinking of xhannahbethx, because she's a longtime diehard like me. You're the only other one I can think of who watches any football at all.

I fell asleep just before the game started, and woke up at the end of the third. I see I didn't miss all that much; blowouts like that get kind of boring unless it's your favorite team doing the blowing out. :P I'd say I was happy for you, except that Dylan's decided he's a Jets fan because Kevin in The Wonder Years was, and he tells me that the Jets are better than the Broncos. Hard to argue with that at the moment. :P

It's kind of odd that the Colts and the Saints went exactly the same way, though, winning exactly the same number and then losing exactly the same number. I didn't look at the details of the Saints game besides the final score, but I imagine you're right; neither team wants to risk its starters at this point. I can understand that reasoning, but you risk losing your momentum this way ( ... )
