It's kind of odd that the Colts and the Saints went exactly the same way, though, winning exactly the same number and then losing exactly the same number. I didn't look at the details of the Saints game besides the final score, but I imagine you're right; neither team wants to risk its starters at this point. I can understand that reasoning, but you risk losing your momentum this way.

I did see a few clips! I can't imagine playing in that. I wish I could have seen that game instead of watching the Cardinals lose. At least it would be interesting to see how they handled snow like that.

It does. *sigh* They've just never been the same since Elway retired. I know he's a hard act to follow, but oh, how I miss the glory days.

The latest news on him is that he's left the hospital and they think he'll make a full recovery, but they're still not saying exactly what was wrong with him beyond a head injury. I'm just so glad he didn't fracture a critical vertebrae and wind up paralyzed, though. I haven't seen many hits like that, and when they called the paramedics out before the cart, I got really scared. Half the Steelers had formed a prayer circle before the cart got there, and I'm thinking, OMG, is he not breathing or something? It's such a cliché to even say it, but you just don't want to see someone go down like that.
