Man, have I felt like reminiscing today! I'm not sure where it started - or maybe I am. I had a relatively deep continuation of a conversation with one of my best friends via email today. I remember Westie so well. She was funny and friendly. What was their wedding like? I bet it was very 'unique' and very 'them.' It seems like she'd have a wedding that was nothing like people think it "has" to be and was all about celebrating who they are.

Sean is a lighting designer for theatre/stores. Westie did a lot of costume and set design work in college and they both LOVE antiques. So they rented an old mansion, Sean lit the place, they filled it with antique novelties and let the architecture speak for itself. Both the wedding and reception were in the house/gardens.

I've never had such a magical time at an event and while it took a lot of planning and prep, it came together seamlessly.
