If they're close to Lake Michigan they can get to Canada by boat, so I'm okay with them being near docks. What baffles me is that Damian thinks the freighter could get to international borders ^o^ He needs to bone up on his geography.

I don't think I'd mind if Jack went back to Carly, but I wouldn't want him to do it to spite Janet. It seems like the show is intent on pulling Jack back towards Carly, and Dusty towards Janet, so maybe it will be a slow, amiable sort of thing. Just have to wait and see. I feel really bad for Carly, though, because Jack promised her and then immediately had to backpedal. That's rough on a girl's heart. And I can't blame her for trying to hold on to Jack as hard as she can!
