I just wish the writers weren't assholes and making Luke all hesitant. The guy spent three years practically shoving Noah in the direction of every bed in the vicinity, but now he's hesitant with Reid?
Very true. I keep flashing back to the scenes at the farm after Luke found out about Holden and Carly's affair. He told Noah that they were basically just roommates because they weren't having sex. Have you read turtleisland's entry about today? I talked a bit about Luke's "change of heart" there and others have made some very good points.

It's interesting to see two very different interpretations of today's bridal suite scene (try saying that 5 times fast!). Both yours and the other are pro-LuRe, and I love the range and depth of everyone's opinions. Three cheers for the fandom!

Yes! That's along the same line I was thinking about. But, after taking some time to re-watch and think some more, I can go with Luke's decision. I really didn't have as much a problem with his hesitation as the fact that he had to associate it with Noah. I just kinda thought that was creepy, because that aspect of their relationship should be the last thing he's thinking about, unless he wants to get back together with Noah. :-/
In short, you shouldn't talk about exguy sex with the new guy. :-)
And YAY for LuRe fandom! I love how everyone's opinions vary so greatly but they're all respected. ♥

I'm okay with the fact that he wasn't ready for sex. I don't have an issue with that. My problem was that he kept equating sex to Noah, and that bothered me. As if he couldn't possibly have sex with someone else because he'd already had it with Noah. And it made me wonder if he just kept thinking about it with all those times with Reid, which I don't like.
I want Luke to be 100% committed to Reid if/when they go for it, so it seems that he made the right decision by stopping things from progressing right now. And even if I think the kiss was a little bit on the teasing side :-P, it was fricking hot as hell and I've already watched it a zillion times. :-) Especially just to see how Reid gazes at him after it. ♥
Hope I didn't upset you. I really don't mind that Luke's not ready yet. I just want Noah off his brain for a while. :-)
