This eppy was kinda schizo where Luke and Reid were concerned, don't you think? My thoughts exactly. When the first Luke/Reid scene started it seemed like it was the middle and there had been stuff before that we missed. It seemed like there were a lot of "missing" scenes before and during this episode.
I totally agree. It seemed very much like the editors chopped the hell out of this episode, because it didn't flow with the scenes before it. I really wish they wouldn't do that...it's very disjointing and unsettling, because everybody's emotions are all over the place. Up until now, I felt like the story was progressing nicely, and things were steady, but these last couple episodes have felt so pieced-together. Argh. C'mon, show...let's get it together! :-)
Wed: Loved Chris, still can't stand Vienna, Henry and Casey were fun, glad Ali and Casey seem to be okay, Katie is a moron for trying to help Vienna. Molly = moron x a billion

I loved Chris, too. He's totally grown on me, and I do think that I'd be okay with him being with Katie in the end. I think he could love her just as much as Brad did and they could be very happy together, if Katie would just let herself be. (Though if Simon comes back, Chris is gettin' the ol' heave-ho from me! :-P

I will support your Simon hopes, even though I have no idea who the heck he is! I will Wiki him. Also! I learned something new, Katie and Henry were married? This I did not know...it made me giggle a little, because really?
As for the teens, with the exception of Parker, they all bug me, I will be fast-forwarding through their scenes I think. Even when I was a teen watching soaps I didn't like the teen stories. I liked Luke and Laura, adventures, stuff like that. That's what is sorely missing from soaps today.
And I agree, it felt choppy. My understanding is that somewhere in the middle of what we are seeing now the new head writer started, and I think they are editing some things now on purpose to twist the story around in her direction. Also, of course some things were re-shot too and edited in. They need to work on their continuity for sure!
Hee! I admit, the only stuff with Simon that I've watched was his most recent stint in Oakdale, but it was enough. Simon couldn't have been more perfect with Katie when she needed him the most, and they were so sweet together. Plus, they have all this history (did you read the wiki on him? Crazy, right? :-P), and Simon and Henry are good buds and are hysterical together, because they're always getting into trouble. :-P They once fell asleep on the couch together and Katie caught them and it was too funny. :-D I love Simon. I was so sad when he left, because he didn't want to go, and Katie didn't want him to, either, but she couldn't leave her home. (If you scroll back to read my earlier recaps with him, you'll be able to see how upset I was and how much I loved him, LOL). And yes! Katie and Henry were once married, but from what I know, that was around the time she had the hots for Mike and it didn't last long with Henry. I also think there was a point where Brad was with Vienna (I think around the same time Katie was with Henry), and

I didn't realize the party was in Luke's bedroom. And that so did not look like the way I though his room would look. But we got that squee worthy flashback scene. :D
Lily Had a party and everyone was scattered throughout the house. WTF?
Right? Haha. I have no idea why Reid ended up there. And if the Lilypad is such a big estate, how did Reid find Luke's bedroom so easily? Especially if he didn't ask for directions? LOL.
And yeah...Lily's "party" had some issues, methinks. :-)
Just as they have a kissing flashback to a time when Luke's hair was a mess... TOTALLY made me bust out laughing! Though I didn't think his hair was bad!
And I love the crack about Molly/Silas vs. Meg/Paul. AHAHAHAHAHA.
Reid taunts Luke about finding him in his bedroom with Noah, where they had "doubtless made love countless times." He massively overestimates the show's producers. LMAO!!!
