Tonight the Wheel of the Year turns another spoke

Another night in which I put in rows onto three active projects but was later to bed than I should have been. 12:30, and I'm looking forward to sleeping till noon tomorrow.

Part of what made me so late to bed was going through Twitter and Facebook sending links to Tumblr:

I think it was actually a specially-selected audience of Tea Party true believers -- but, yeah, tarnishing the image of the GOP as a whole.

If the GOP specially selected that audience it's even more disturbing--though to be sure, I've thought the GOP was headed in that direction since the extreme right wing elements gained ascendancy in 1980.

Other way round -- it was a debate hosted and managed by the Tea Party, to which the Republican candidates were invited. But the fact that there's been at least one alarming audience reaction talked up in the news after each of the three debates means we can't blame it entirely on a Tea Party-picked audience.
