Visited Grandma last night on the way home from work and put a few rows onto the rainbow sock before putting it away in disappointment. Had to concede -- this yarn doesn't seem to want to be a sock. Or at least, not using this pattern -- not only am I not pleased with the pooling, but the yarn is too thin for the gauge this pattern calls for, ( Read more... )

There aren't enough hours in the day, and I'm spending half of them at work (or driving to work, or getting ready for work) and I come home and don't have more than two or three hours of being able to do much of anything between dinner and getting ready for bed. ( Whine, whine, whine -- I'm so tired and I get so little time to myself anymore )
