Seriously, I had a fascinating conversation with my Chinese co-worker about this. The level of brainwashing on this issue is staggering. "They are Chinese, why wouldn't they be Chinese", etc... and she's a very smart person. Apparently this Taiwan issue is the only thing she thinks could topple the Chinese government... anyway, we'll talk later. It's just this regime, and because of our needs from China re: trade surplus, N. Korea, walmart.

Off to be blown up by Chechen rebels...
