Over 100 again today. Supposed to have a rummage sale tomorrow, so I hope it cools down. Must be global warming.

Last day of almost four weeks of vacation. It's going to be hard to get up early and go to work tomorrow...especially at 4:00 a.m. !! :-(

Upper 90's and humid today with no rain in sight. Even the weeds aren't bothering to grow in my garden. Hope it rains soon.

Had a good weekend with relatives. Two deep-fried turkeys and plenty of other food, no snow, fairly warm weather, good time.

Stayed home from work to watch over my son. He's doing pretty good, still some memory issues, but getting better. Last week was warm and sunny. This week, cold and rain/snow. Yuck. I want the warm weather back. Going to visit relatives for the Easter weekend. Hopefully, there will not be a foot of snow on the ground.

My son slipped into a diabetic coma sometime last Saturday. We didn't know it until we broke into his apartment last Monday afternoon. He was still breathing, luckily. After spending the week in a hospital, he was released on Friday afternoon. He still suffers from memory loss, but the doctors seem confident that will go away. It makes it hard ( Read more... )

Finally bought a digital camera this week. Have to find time to read the manual and play with it.
