OMG. Went to LONDON GAY PRIDE yesterday, omg. So much fun, so much fun, omg.

Gifford and some other people decided not to go because of the car bombs found the previous day. I almost didn't go because I got a bit nervous, but then, it's London! It's always gonna be dangerous, and now there was a really large amount of police forces present - like ( Read more... )

Haha it was great to see you too, I wish I'd met you earlier, you sound like you had a better day than me by far! My friends are just stupid and slow and all over each other (urgh lesbians lol). It ended really happily though when I finally got a pride flag and I saw Kerry Ellis sing "The Wizard and I" which I screamed my way through!!
*hugs* xxx

I know, I wish we could've met earlier. You could've come in the parade with us! But obviously once we were marching, we couldn't leave until the parade finished, which took a while.

I did have a really great day, I'm sorry you didn't D: It did suck for me and Flo that we had to leave so early, though. And I did notice your friends were slightly all over each other XDD Oh well. Next year, the three of us will march in the parade together and have a great time! And will stay for the whole night! :D

I'm glad you got your flag <3

::huggles::

PS - did you see John Barrowman on stage? If I sound like I'm obsessed... that's because I am XDD

Yes I saw him on stage, and I'd seen him earlier in the parade too. Was good!!

Hope you had a good time at your ball!!!

Ah! JEALOUS! (>__<)

Yeah, I did, although it was slightly boring as always. It was a shame you couldn't come to that either - in fact, we saw less of you yesterday than we should've! (;____;) Ah well, I'm sure I'll see you over the summer at some time or another! :D

AAAH, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD SO MUCH FUN! I would like to go to some huge gay pride event like that one day...;_; and not feel so awkward. Though the friends I hang out IRL know I'm pretty much lesbian, and accept that, and I feel comfortable around them. XD Well one of them is a gay guy too, so they're really cool, and I have fun hanging out with all of them. ^o^;

AND YOU LOOK SO HOT IN THAT DRESS. ♥ I love. ^^;; *Hugsquishlove.* You're so cute! And I really love your haircut too...I think that's one of the first things I noticed (besides your cuteness~ hahaha *lame*) when I started looking at the pictures. "Omg, I love her haircut! *_*"

I'm glad you've got some freetime to relax and have fun without worrying about working/studying. *HUG!* ^o^

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! XDDD

And you should definitely go! I was nervous, what with the bombs and thinking I would feel awkward, but it's amazing. Everyone's gay and assumes everyone else is, there's no judgement or feelings of being separated from other people, it's great. I went with _windigo_ who's my RL best friend and also a lesbian (although we're not a couple - everyone thinks we are but we're not...) and it was awesome. You should go to one with your gay friend! Also I don't know exactly where you are or what Prides there are round you, but it was great for me going to the main British Pride rather than a smaller one.

Thanks XDDD I don't photograph well. Like AT ALL. But thanks :D ::huggles:: <3 I love my haircut too... I think shorter hair suits me. And it's a lot easier to deal with ( ... )

Yay for the parade! By "we didn't get to see John Barrowman", do you mean he was going to actually be there or that you just missed him in Dr Who? (Which WAS AWESOME, I AGREE!)

Who is the guy on the stage with the white suit?

See NOW I realise why I saw this huge LGBT flag hanging up sorta the main square when I went to a Uni Open Day on Thurs. It must have had to do with Pride, I guess! =D Me = dumb.

GRAHAM NORTON!!!! I love him sooooo unbelievably much.

yay for you and the Amnesty International! Those banners are great.

Shame you had to leave for the dance =( But PRETTY DRESS!

Loving the Bunny Men and Penis Hat Man!!!

*goes away filled with rainbowness =D*

Yay indeed! :D JB was actually there, leading the parade apparently, and he presented on the main stage. My friend and I had to leave before that, though, which was a bummer D:

DOCTOR WHO!! DOCTOR WHO~~~~!! ::is spastic:: XDDD
(I miss it already! o(;___;)o )

The guy in the white suit was Darren Hayes, who is the gay singer from Savage Garden... We kinda missed him singing, though - we just saw him at the end.

I know, I love Graham Norton too <3 I think it's impossible not to. He's such a scamp XDD

Thanks! :D I bought the dress that week. Most of my friends got theirs way in advance. I was lazy D:

There were some wonderful costumes I wish we'd gotten pictures of... Especially the Wonder Woman people, and this drag queen in a purple leotard with AMAZING legs who we spoke to... Ah, the missed opportunities... XDXD

*goes away filled with rainbowness =D*
And my job is done XDDD

Thanks! :D I bought the dress that week. Most of my friends got theirs way in advance. I was lazy D:

I bought my dress the week before my dance too! But only because I COULDN'T FIND the right one. Grr.

JACK = FACE OF BOE WTF? Wait I've just remembered you commented on my reaction post to it. But still. JACK FACE OF BOE WTF!!!!!

I was intrigued and have just been watching vids of John on stage on YouTube! Yay for him and Scott!

I don't know Savage Garden too well, so I didn't know who it was until I was told. But it's ok, I'm jealous of anyone who got to see JOHN BARROWMAN'S KISS!! >3 Damn my having to leave early! (;_______;)

But yeah, he and Scott are so sweet~~~ (^w^)

I know, that Face of Boe thing was kinda strange... I like how the loose ends tied up though, very neat. I didn't see that whole 'humans are the Toklophane (sp?)' thing coming, though. I thought they were going to be the remains of the Time Lords or something, god knows.

I'm terrible at choosing dresses, mainly because I don't much like dresses. I'm kinda stereotypical that way... But I did like the one I wore in the end :D

Looks like you had a blast! I love the t-shirt and the gown is beautiful! The last formal I attended I wore red. I still have the gown, but I'll have to wait until the babies are weaned to get it zipped up... either that or get a binder of some sort. I'd love to have a bumper sticker with "Love is a human right" to put on my car. I've had the thing for just over 3 years and no stickers. My the tailgate of my old pick-up was covered in them. Mom was always expecting the neighbors in their rather conservative neighborhood to say something about my rolling billboard of liberal goodness.

I did! :D And thanks, I liked my dress too. Don't know when I'll ever wear it again... Oh well.

I know, 'Love is a Human Right' is a good slogan. I may have to make an icon of it...

There's nothing wrong with a billboard of liberal goodness! :D As long as it doesn't get you into trouble with any violent types... o(>________<)o

No violent types... Just stodgy old farts with more money than they know how to spend with dour expressions at anything that suggests they part with said money for a social cause unless that it has anything to do with raising their social status.

And well, Mom is rather overly concerned with appearances and the opinions of others.

Sounds... yeah, EXACTLY like the people who live around me, actually. Ugh. Why is it always the people who don't spend their money well who have a lot of it?

Mom is rather overly concerned with appearances and the opinions of others
And again ditto DD:
