I've been dead for quite some time, huh... Life's really hectic at the moment. I've been on my school break since the 2nd of July, but I haven't gotten as much scanning and scanlating done as I wanted. My grandma fell ill the moment my break started and she's been in a critical condition since then, so I've been making trips ( Read more... )

It's rough when your grandparents get old, and the nursing home ordeals begin. My mom is a nurse, and she knows what nursing homes are like and she refused to put her parents up in them. When they got too old to take care of themselves, they moved in with us - it was really difficult. My mom couldn't handle taking care of them all on her own, so she hired a nurse to come in. What happens to people when the get old, I find, is so embarrassing. I want to die at least with my sense because I've seen my grandparents deteriorate from dementia.

The vids we watched in class about dementia were pretty horrible. Sorry you guys have to go through that. :/

Haha, the buses here also do that. Now I just walk the all the way to the light rail station and save $2. xD The bus going home from high school would come right when the last bell rang (or maybe just a few mins before). Hated it so much. 20-30 mins later half the high school is out there waiting and it would be crowded as hell. It's like they coordinate these times to piss us off, wth. = =
