This is the first time I have ever said this, but Oh, Cas.
This is beautiful. The glimpses into Castiel's head as he listens to Sam's prayers are a wonderful look into his character. I loved seeing Sam, Dean, and John - and even Anna - through his eyes as he tries to make sense of them and their lives and the entire world around him.
It makes me wonder what this Cas would think when getting the order to raise Dean from the dead, and what he would think of Sam after everything that happened.
This is beautifully done, very in-character for Cas, caring despite himself (at least in his earlier appearances in the show). The point of view was fabulous, his disconnect with the human world and how it's hard for him to view things in the same way as transient humanity.
