So hey, I am now an actual paid intern at an actual local small press! I get to read slush, which means that I am probably the first person to look at a given book and my opinion on it is what makes the important people look at it, so basically I am the secret master that controls the writer’s fate. I’ll try not to let the power go to my head. Try.

th_esaurus and I are watching the BAFTAs. When Christoph Waltz won, th_esaurus said, 'All I can think about is how delighted futuresoon will be.' I was thinking exactly the same thing.
