Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear about that :(

I did the whole swab to enter the donor register thingy about a year ago, does that count?

Thanks for this, Susan. I can't register in the US, but looked up the UK equivalent and found out I can easily do it the next time I go in to give blood (which will still be in a while, but definitely something I intend to do).
