Thanks! That article was really interesting. I always thought that Lolitas seemed to present a kind of gender mind-fuck because they are sooooo girly and pretty and elegant and beautiful but not very "sexy" or "hot" in the way that a man might like a woman to be.

When not put in service of the desires of men-- feminine frills become something else entirely. I think they can become a source of power--

hi this is totally random but i saw you in some community somewhere and had this insane deja vu about your name and face and then i remembered i'd seen you yearssssss ago. maybe we used to fight? haha i can't remember. you don't appear to be in the kind of community that i think i remember you from anymore though, at least not in this LJ.
