Updating from study hall, this is becoming a habbit!

Feb 11, 2003 14:19

I think a lot of my fellow students are taking a secret course in Aerodynamics, because as soon as the teacher left the room, they started tossing paper airplanes around. And we all know that in study hall, whether the teacher is there or not, we MATURE students study, study, study.

Sunday, my folks, those wonderful people, returned the favor ( Read more... )

I know you'd probably completely disagree with me Beej, but training shouldn't be about fun and games. With the constant rate that this planet is coming under attack, we should be taking our training seriously. Having 2 Saiyajins who can go to SSJ4 isn't enough to save us from everything. And I think people not taking their training seriously made them reevaluate their positions the last time we went to war. Big surprise when they find out that killing is not fun and games. I think Vegeta is practical about training. He knows what it is and what it isn't. But to each his own I suppose.

*giggles nervously* Yeah, that does look kind of bad. Seriously, though, we'll sort this out. I hope.

Well, you know what I mean, and to me, that's all that counts.

*blushes* Aww! I'll bet nobody else reads other people's comment threads this long, anyway. *g*

Heh, probably not. I'm sure Gokou loses interest the moment he sees he has to click on a thread to go further. *g*

*giggles* That's probably true!

"Oh, I have to click this? Well, let's see... oooh, something shiny! Pretty... now, what was I doing?"

*giggles* This is getting kind of mean, though.

True. But Gokou understands. Well, actually, I'm not sure he does.

There's no one like Gokou in all the world and I mean that in the best possible ways. The version of him in my time was "my best" friend growing up, and the closest I had to someone my age, at least mentally.

*nods* It's really great that the two of you had each other as friends like that in your time. And you're right. Gokou is one of a kind, and I don't think any of us would have it any other way.

No, I don't know if we could put up with that much specialness having two Gokou's. *g*

He was a pretty cool friend to have growing up. And in a sense, I'm glad he's the one who got picked to go SSJ4, because it gives us a chance to get to know each other better in this time.

I'm with you, Piper. I know when it comes down to it, if the earth is threatened we'll do what we have to do. I think we proved that with Froster. But honestly, if I had to worry about this all leading into more killing, on those cold mornings, it would be a lot more tempting to stay in bed. "Someone else can prepare to save the world!"

It's a game of limits, really, if we take things too seriously. People can only handle things to a certain point and if we push too hard they'll snap. And it's really amazing how conscious Gokou is of that point in everyone.

Oh yeah, me too. Gokou has an amazing knack of being able to get everyone motivated and keep them motivated. I think Goten would have stopped going to training eons ago if it was all like being in the military. "Look to the person on your left, now look to the person on your right... one of these people won't be here after the next battle..."

I'm not saying that folks that don't have it in them to be fighters should be...but then I look at Froster and I wonder if we hadn't had everyone, including folks like Goten, would we have been able to succeed?
