Hey Nic...I know how you feel. This past year has also been kind of a non-starter for me as well. So I've decided to spend the rest of the year organzing in order to make 2006 more productive than this one. Maybe not the best strategy...:-) But oh well.

There is definitely something to be said for taking time to organize. If I was smart, I'd probably be doing that very thing myself.

also, if youre into hippy shit (not, like, pseudo-hippy shit, wherein people smoke pot and dance to phish, but "hippy," as in trying to make a difference), we had a local des moines chapter of Food Not Bombs that happens every saturday.
