Wow I'm kind of dying to see the Draco!:C face. That may be my favorite face of all. I have a whole icon dedicated to it.
Agh. I want to see. If it's Lisa!approved then maybe my bookfu won't make me flip out.
Gingers are more genetically inclined to be magical because its nature's way of apologizing for their inability to tan and show up in photographs wait... maybe that's vampires.
Yeahh, my best friend and I felt the same way that you did about the opening scene. XD We were just like "...wait, what the hell is going on? Are we in the right movie?"
Honestly, one of my biggest general criticisms of the films is that they put 100% of their focus on the Trio. Other characters like the Marauders, the Order members, the Twins, Neville, Snape... they get only the most necessary amount of attention. I know Harry, Ron and Hermione are the money makers, but I mean, come on, the way Snape is written is abysmal. Not nearly mean enough.
I agree with you on all counts. Oh god Cormac was sooo smarmy, I thought he was brilliant. And I, too, screamed like a little girl during the Inferi scene. And, Gambon aside, I did cheer with the rest of the theatre when Dumbles roasted all the Inferi.
All in all, it was hard not to bookraeg the whole time, but I did enjoy it a lot. When I'm in Jersey, we need to do some serious Potterfagging. C:
I didn't realize before seeing this that drinking Felix Felices is equivalent to being really, really energetically high. I LOLed at Harry making pincer gestures at dead!Aragog.
And I actually remembered why I used to feel sympathetic for Draco. He had that great vulnerable moment at the top of the tower, and that made me like him in spite of his constant snooty emo face.
