My couch loves me, of this I am sure.

Happy Saturday, y'all. It's gloomy (but still sunny) here. I had plans to go out later, but I'm not very motivated to shower and stuff. It's been a nice day of Farscape and Duke (W), and I'm comfy in my grubbies.

= Yikes, sorry about the Kansas game, powrhug. :( But Syracuse lost today too, their second loss, so you could keep your ranking ( Read more... )

I always use two spaces between sentences. It's how I was taught by my mother, who went through secretary school and the whole nine yards. I also think it's much, MUCH easier to read. I read quickly and am often jumping from sentence to sentence letting my eyes go faster than my brain.

Yeah, in reading that article, I couldn't believe they argued that too much space would actually make it harder to read. Sure, maybe if your text is justified (that's annoying), but I much prefer to have more space between sentences. I'm a skimmer myself, so it helps.

JLo has always been a non-entity to me, I neither loved or hated her over the years - her movies were hit and miss, much like her music - but I knew she was a good mentor the one time she was on AI, so I had high hopes, and so far so good.

I'm going to hunt down Blue Valentine tomorrow, wherever it may be playing, let me know what you think of it!

I don't do it all the time, but I try, and usually, my thumb works on its own accord and does all the spacing how it was taught as a child.

It took me years before I figured out that it wasn't an uncommonly persistent typo but that Americans often intentionally use two spaces. ^^°

LOL, we Americans are wacky like that. I don't have a problem with single spacing, it's just not how I was taught, so for people to tell me I'm wrong makes me want to use 2 spaces even more. :P

I think The Social Network is a great movie...but it doesn't fall into the "film" category for me. For me a film needs to have a bit of fantasy, so Inception was my favorite for 2010, too. Black Swan was good, but didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

I was just saying to someone else that I have hard time suspending my disbelief for Justin in a movie. We have spent so much time with him over the past 10+ year, I feel like every emotion he presents, I have seen in some other piece of footage. But, maybe that is my fault and not his :)

That's EXACTLY what I meant by my comment. I've seen him in almost every *real* emotion via all of his interviews and candid footage, so I can see when he's faking it on camera. And I fully accept that it's my issue with him and not anything to do with his acting ability, and I wouldn't really have this issue with many others. I've just seen a shitload of sparkly interviews, so it's harder with them.

YES!! I feel like I know when Justin is trying just a little too hard, faking it just a little too much. Dammit, NSYNC fandom!

Jenna does make me laugh with her devotion to MySpace even after all this time.

Isn't it cute? And she's just not budging. I've only kept my myspace account so I can be notified of HER freakin' updates, she's the only one left!
