Sewing Vinyl Claws?

I've looked through the memories and I've seen people discuss plastic, clay, and resin claws, but not really soft ones, particularly with something like marine vinyl, which is what I'm attempting to work with.

Marine vinyl is upholstery weight and likely way too thick for such small details. Try clothing weight PVC like you can find here at Syfabrics.

Haha! Well, I've put myself in the same position any number of times. :D

With that thinner PVC, even though it's cloth-backed, make sure your stitch length is not too short or else it will perforate the PVC which will then pull away from the seams and backing. Avoid stuffing too hard. I've ruined enough PVC "plush" pieces to know it can be finicky stuff. ^_^;
