The smile that Max flashed her only dimmed a little bit when the man followed the really attractive woman into the office. He was still Max, and the woman was still hot, and that meant that certain things were just going to happen. Like flirting.
"I am," Max laughed. "But, please, just call me Max. Titles are for the military, not the classroom." He stood up and offered her his hand.
"Max, then," and if her smile was a little warmer for the flirting, well, this was Dallas.
"We're Fiona's aunt and uncle, here for the weekend. You're one of Fiona's teachers, aren't you? We just wanted to meet you, check in, of course. See what kind of person you are."
Aaron watched the other man carefully before speaking.
There was a chance that aunt and uncle meant they were siblings rather than spouses, but... Dallas' wider grin made Max's own widen a bit in return. "I hope you find me satisfactory."
He turned to Aaron and nodded. His back straightened and he settled into a sort of loose at-rest stance. "Career legionaire," he agreed.
Ms Bellum had taken her luggage to her room and spent a few minutes freshening up before striking out to gather more information on Momoko's progress. She checked her data-pad - yes, this was the office of one of Momoko's teachers this semester. She knocked.
Ms Bellum shook off an odd shiver and opened the door, entering the room with a business-like air. A very sexy business-like air, but that really couldn't be helped. She dropped her data-pad to her side and inclined her head briefly. "Professor Maximus, I hope?"

It's just that a psuedo-Mongol warrior in a Stetson, cowboy boots, and a worn t-shirt stepped in with her.
"Hello," said the blond with a little fluttering wave, "are you Professor Maximus?"
