0001 - Wanted was awesome. There were times I could not suspend disbelief and rolled my eyes; the plot is a solid C-, but overall as a movie experience, I loved it. There will never be another car as ugly as the Aztec. A friend had one as a rental once. The inside was great, but good god the outside was horrible.

I remember when they first came out and one guy in our neighbourhood bought one; we used to sit in our coffee shop and snicker as he went by. XD

Toyota is making their whole line of cars hybrids over the next few years. You could get a hybrid Camry or some such. Don't know how their mileage compares.

I like the looks of my 2003 Prius sedan better than the newer hatchback.

The Camry's kinda ugly, too. >.> Well, Bella's still got a couple of years left in her, so hopefully by then there'll be a bit more choice available.

Totally agreed with you on Wanted, down to the parts that I thought were just too over-the-top. Amazing effects, though; 10 minutes into the movie I had already said, "I'm going to have to see this again."

James McAvoy: I was also very impressed. And outraged that they only showed him shirtless at the end. Also v sad for Angelina :( but I suppose it fit well with her character.

Also agreed on Iron Man and Hulk! All so badass. ♥ Edward Norton.

A friend of mine - huge Will Smith/Will Smith-Independence-Day-blockbusters fan - said Hancock fell below [his] expectations, sad times! But I'm still looking forward to seeing it.

Oooh, yeah, I totally want to see Wanted again on the big screen before it goes into second-run. Now to find the time!!! :O

Angelina's character arc for Fox was fascinating -- it was one of the things I thought was underdeveloped; I loved what was there but I wish there'd been an opportunity for more.

Edward Norton pretty much sells Hulk for me; he can't screw anything up. <3 him.

Regarding Hancock, I've so far heard both good and bad things, and have been trying really hard to stay unspoiled! Tomorrow! Yay! :D

0011 - Why are hybrid cars so damn ugly? I'd love one when Bella outlives her warranty, but jeez. Saw a Prius in traffic today; the damn thing looks like the Chevy Aztec had an abortion.

*nods* I know what you mean. I need to get a new car and I'd LOOOOOOVE to get a hybrid but I just don't know if I can drive something that crazy looking around...
