No, there isn't another Halloween-themed furry convention in Connecticut. We're the only one. We're just poking fun at ourselves and the boasting some other conventions do. We don't take ourselves too seriously. ;o)

I just tried the hotel website to book a room. It says there are no rooms available. Is the hotel already sold out?

You know, I'm getting really tired of being judged by hobos. They think they're so great, what with their bindles and their Mulligan stew. Do we go to their annual convention and judge them? Nosirree, Bob.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to flip the cow crate over the hump. I'd ride possum belly, but I don't want to end up greasing the track and catching the westbound.

I'll confess that I have enough time on my hands that I actually did research for that LJ reply LOL! In doing so, I learned that there actually is an annual hobo convention in Britt, Iowa-- in fact, it just took place last weekend.

Theirs might actually be the only less hygienic convention than a furry convention.
