Yes, Sirius is going to be turning into something of a rebel in this story. This sneak peek is from the summer holidays between fifth and sixth year and will be in either chapter 39 or 40. I have written up to the start of those holidays (the Hogwart's Express has just arrived at King's Cross) and it just depends on how long the stuff before this scene takes, as to which chapter it ends up in.

I'll have you know that I'm so desperately pressed for time that you've posted several chapters of my FAVORITE STORY that I haven't been able to read yet! Not to even mention all of those others goodies that await me! I'm having a tough couple of days both with real life and formatting the R/S Prophet and so I decided I DESERVE to read at least the sneak peek

Well, if it makes you feel any better about not having time to read those new chapters, the second of the three had an evil cliffie at the end of it - and lucky you managed to avoid it since you can read them all at once.

Glad you liked the sneak peek. It is a part of one of my favourite Sirius/Regulus bits, which starts with Sirius coming out to his inquisitive younger brother.

I did wonder when I read this if he had come out to Reg! It's come to where I am so in love with the characters, such as Remus, Sirius, Regulus, Rita Skeeter and Alphard, as you made them in your AU that I'm beginning to prefer this to JK Rowling's canon. But then, if she would just keep her mouth shut, there really isn't MUCH canon of these characters anyway ...........
You know I'm with the reviewer that is begging that you not cut OiaBM short .... But I do remember a word somewhere about possible sequels about centaurs and Romulus Lupin! I'll hold you to it! I bake well. If you tell me where to send them, I'll do real cookies! Or a charitable contribution to the cause of your choice.

The proposed fic for Regulus at Sheila Shuttleworth's School for Squibs is rather intriguing...

Also, much love for the Sirius getting caught with gay porno magazines. poor guy. I'm looking forward to seeing how you had him tell Regulus. I'm with werewolfsan about the massive love for your characters. It truly is better than the barely existent canon.

Well, the Regulus spin off fic may never actually materialise. It all depends on what I have on my plate when this story is finished and whether I get any inspiration for it. It is an interesting suggestion that has cropped up a couple of times now though.

I can tell you now that the chapter where Sirius comes out to Regulus will be chapter 39 (not 40 - that was my mistake with the numbering - stupid prologue is listed as chapter 1 and it throws me out all the time).

Regarding the canon, I am rather curious to know what canon JKR actually has on the marauders and the other characters who are not in Harry's generation. She must have some details...
