May 23, 2011 21:47

[The video opens and the ground is really, really close. That's right. Aurum the Pichu has Ed's pokegear again and is bent on filming another training session. This time, though, Alfons is there too. Aurum pans the camera and catches Armstrong the Tauros pawing at the ground and Colonel the Aron who is getting a lecture from Ed.]Ok, look. I ( Read more... )

It actually eats metal? [That doesn't sound very appetizing, even if it's for a Pokèmon.]

Yeah, he does-

[Ed notices Aurum with the pokegear now.]

Aurum, give that back!

[Aurum hugs it close it him.]

Pichu pi! Chu pichu pi!

[Ed points to the ground next to him, but Aurum shakes his head.]

Fine! Have it your way. Don't expect any apples any time soon!

[Vice 2, her Eevee, is sticking it's head into the camera to watch the commotion. Seems like the commotion has made him curious.]

Maybe you should give him apples instead of threatening to take them away. I know if someone gave me food I would probably listen to them a lot more.

Pi! [It was obvious Aurum agreed with the person Ed was talking to.]

Fine! [Ed scratches his head.] Come on down, give that back, and then I'll get a whole bunch of apples for you.

[Aurum is taking his trainer seriously now, but what if it's a trap? He gives Ed a skeptical look and slowly climbs down the tree and hands the pokegear back. Ed kneels down and flicks Aurum's ear.]

That's it. After training, I'll get you apples, but you better stop doing that!

[Alfons looks...nervous. He hasn't really tested his Pokemon against other trainers very much, preferring just to let them do...whatever they want, more or less. Schatzi looks non-plussed, at least. She knows she has a type advantage against Colonel, at the very least. Alfons doesn't.]

I guess so. Just...if it gets too violent, we'll stop, right?

[Someone didn't have the benefit of training with Izumi...]

It's not like we're having them fight to the death. They have to get stronger somehow, so why not have them spar with each other?

[Colonel's just standing there, looking at Schatzi. Ed doesn't really know type advantages or disadvantages either. Meanwhile, Aurum climbs a tree to get a better view of the scene.]

I'm not exactly used to making my pets fight.

[Schatzi tosses her head and gives a sort of canine grin. She's ready for this, even if Alfons isn't.]

Maybe not, but Schatzi looks like she's up for it.

[Colonel on the other hand...he's just looking at the Vulpix in front of him. He'd much rather be sleeping. Or eating.]

She must be a bright person, then, aru.

[China smiles.]

Is she around your age? Or is she older?

[China's bordering on thing that Winry is a) an older sister figure or b) someone special...]

She's a gear-head if that's what you mean.

[Ed raises an eyebrow.] We're the same age. Why?

Shut up! He did stop!

[Meaning he stopped after Ed stuffed him back in his Pokeball.]

Yeah, I'm sure.

You should train it better; you'd be pretty useless without your automail and nobody to fix it for you wouldn't you?

What's it to you?! You're pretty useless without your transforming powers!

[That's quite a stretch, Ed. Envy's got you on this one.]

It is not surprising that prosthetic limbs would prove to be a burden in a dimension such as this. They must prove incredibly difficult to maintain.
