How do *you* use Evernote?

Based upon many friends recommending the Evernote app for our phones, we both downloaded it and played with it a bit, but so far it hasn't been very practical for us. How do *you* use Evernote? Do you share a single account with someone else to make up a grocery list, or so you share lists and send them via email? Do you sync them with Dropbox? So

I have a separate shopping list for every store. The grocery one is shared with Ben.

I have a note for things to bring to and from the island. When I am there I note down what I need next time I go. When Iam home I note what I need to fetch back next time I go.

I keep notes that I just gather ideas about over time: xmas list, things to discuss with my doctor at my next physical, etc.

I keep my to do list on it when I am away from home.

I use it anytime I would have carried home a sticky note.

I'm still writing paper notes... wonder how long that will take to change... will have to keep reminding myself that it's better for the environment anyway... hrm.

Do you share an account with Ben for your grocery list (same user name & pass) or do you sync/share some other way? We are not having much luck with 2 separate accounts. I know it should be easy to use but it just isn't clicking yet.
