Things finally seem as though they are getting back to normal now. Alex is well, the onslaught of homework has dissipated. I really had no idea N.E.W.T.s were going to be this stressful. Alex is in the hospital. Both Dumbledore and Pomfrey said he will be alright, but I am still worried. And Dumbledore wouldn't let me stay. Instead he gave me a potion to give to Charis, leaving her in my charge.

I have to say that has been, by far, one of the best days of my entire life. Truly. Better than when I passed all of my OWL’s with flying colors. Better than being in Fiona’s wedding.
