[And as guilty as Shilo is, if you rub her the wrong way she's still going to snap. It's not like she's unaffected.]

[The comm clicks on to shaky, uneven breathing. When Shilo speaks, her speech seems slightly disjointed and rushed.]

[There's a pause as she tries to remember something. Anything.]

[When the comm clicks on, there's the sound of frantic sobbing. It sounds as if Shilo's body is being dragged across the floor.]

Nonono ... please, no ... H-help, please ... someone.

[She cries out in pain and then there's a clatter - sounds like she dropped her comm. Her crying gets more and more distant until the transmission times out.]

[All this talk of imprisonment makes Shilo crave the outdoors. Spending too much time leaning over the railing and watching the water go by makes her skin sting, so instead she's opted to lounge around in the flower field. There's a sky here and it's beautiful. For those of you that're having trouble finding things to feed your baby, Christine and I have a lot of milk here at the cafe on deck 8. It's not going to be enough for everyone, but if you're really screwed over you can have some.

[Bleat, bleat, then the sound of footsteps and a door opening and shutting. No more goat-noises.]

I'm pretty sure goats don't belong on ships. Really.

So this boat is kind of cool overall. I mean, there's food, and places to get clothes and stuff, and there's an entire forest and a field full of flowers and a really pretty and big library, but.

My only problem:

There are no bugs in the forest or the flower field.

Are there just ... not any at all? Anywhere?

My ComLink isn't working, and I have this clunky thing now, and --

...and I'm on a boat. The water is so clean.
