[All this talk of imprisonment makes Shilo crave the outdoors. Spending too much time leaning over the railing and watching the water go by makes her skin sting, so instead she's opted to lounge around in the flower field. There's a sky here and it's beautiful. So blue. When she looked up back at home almost all she could see was smog. Her world couldn't support flowers, either. It used to be able to but after all the death, so man bodies in the ground made it acidic.
This field is the opposite of her world, basically.
It's quiet here, too. The peacefulness helps her think about the situation with Shayn and Asad. She'd volunteered her help to Shayn because she was and is of the firm belief that nobody should be kept locked up against their will (unless they were, say, a criminal and deserved it). She really doesn't know what she's supposed to be doing to help right now. She's waiting for something, anything. It's a lot to think about. At least she doesn't know that her boyfriend's been kissing boys. That'd make her head hurt even more.
She plucks flower after flower out of the ground, carefully weaving them together into chains and necklaces. This boat is magic, they'll grow back quickly.]
