And so it goes.

Well, I found out today that Casey has come to the genius conclusion that I had already decided what I wanted when I said "Let's not date for a week." He has presumably been running on that assumption (oh this is dangerous) most of this week. Before this realization, I looked forward to clearing the air on Saturday. Now I sort of dread it because I ( Read more... )

ack. Difficult difficult. I don't know him at all and am not really qualified to judge (though as usual, that's not going to stop me), but if he's being mopey about it, and given all the problems you listed...is he really right for you anyway? Anyway, hope it turns out for the best. <3

I dunno. I don't expect to marry him or anything. I don't even spend a lot of time with him in the arrangement that we have now. Now I spend about the same amount of time with him as I do any of my other friends, maybe less. I'm not sure that I did the right thing. I guess we'll see in the coming weeks. As soon as I feel like I have nothing left to gain from the relationship, I'll end it. The reason that I kept it going is mostly because I think he still has things to teach me about myself. I mean, I also like him.
However, interesting side note:
Jyoti is completely baffled because he can't figure out what the two of them have in common. (Casey is short and white and straight-haired and Jewish) I guess they both have big noses.
Also, Jyoti dropped me off at my house the other day and my grandmother flipped out and tried to get me to go out with him again, because he's handsome in her opinion. She made me walk him out to the car. At night. It was really hilariously awkward. She also told him that she was in love with him.
