Well, that’s Christmas and New Year over for another year, and it’s back to work, or at least to looking for it. I have to see the daft duck woman this afternoon, then I can finish taking down the last of the decorations and start properly looking for some sort of paid employment.

Well, that was, er, festive, I suppose. I ate far too much, saw a bunch of people who I only ever see at Christmas, and watched a lot of telly. The Case of the Transferred Pudding

Seasonal Viewing
It's a horrible dark, wet morning, and I'm putting off going to the shops by sitting here organising my Christmas viewing. I've just realised that, added together they come to a good bit more than 12 hours, not counting anything actually on the television ( Read more... ) -

Listening to the very interesting history of carols on BBC Radio 4, I discovered that "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks By Night" fits'Haexactly to the tune of "On Ilkley Moor Ba'T'Hat", and sounds much better. -
Early Christmas Dinner
This morning, I'm suffering from the food equivalent of a hangover, having eaten way, way too much last night.
