I'm afraid I dropped off the radar again last week, and then I had an unusually strenuous (for me) weekend, involving visits to Ikea and Lidl (because now I am a poor person), a birthday party and a visitor from Bristol. Oh, and getting soaked through by thunderstorms two days in a row. I also finished the niece's armwarmers, which look like this ( Read more... )

The arm warmers are lovely colours!

What did you get at IKEA?

I wish I could get stuck being healthy!
LOL
It's great you've done so well in a relatively short time. I'm impressed (and I was back in December as well!)

We're back!

I only hope I can keep the healthiness up!

I got these beautiful perfume bottles at IKEA; I had meant to get them for Christmas presents, but they were out of stock then, so I'll put them away for next year (and probably completely forget where I've put them). I also finally got the god-daughter's Christmas present (a full-length mirror, essential for a tailor).

Those are lovely bottles. I don't think I've seen them at our local IKEA. Make a note and tape it somewhere visible that says where you've put the bottles.

The armwarmers are lovely and the colours very pretty. What an unusual gift to give :-)

Glad you are feeling healthy and your physio has gone well...I was given an NHS 'exercise prescription' for the gym and can also have a discount. What a good idea :-)

She chose the armwarmers herself - I was so behind with making Christmas presents that I ended up presenting her with a bag of yarn and a couple of pattern books and asking her to pick what she wanted me to make.

The gym thing is a great idea. I only hope it doesn't get cut back!
