I'm afraid I dropped off the radar again last week, and then I had an unusually strenuous (for me) weekend, involving visits to Ikea and Lidl (because now I am a poor person), a birthday party and a visitor from Bristol. Oh, and getting soaked through by thunderstorms two days in a row. I also finished the niece's armwarmers, which look like this;
The wool was some felty-looking Kaffe Fassett stuff I bought in the John Lewis sale. It's rather solid, and they came out a bit stiff, but they should be very warm and provide some protection if she ever comes off her bike.
I had my last physio appointment at the hospital today. I've made excellent progress, apparently, but need to work on my quads, whatever they are. They have also given me a referral to a local council gym where I can get a discount, so it looks like I'm stuck with being healthy for the time being.
