If you can get uphill and have a successful knee class you're doing very well!

I really hope the weather is better a week from now. This is starting to look like a repeat of last winter.

The forecast is for it to clear up a bit by next week, but the forecast also said no snow yesterday, so I don't have much confidence in it. There seems to have been much more snow in south London; my sister-in-law says they've had nearly a foot!

Central London will be clear next week anyway, and the dry cold isn't too bad - better than rain anyway.

I wondered what they did at knee class. Sounds like you are doing well especially as that hill is quite steep! There's a nice park half way up I seem to remember, which I used to go to in warmer weather when I visited Ben. The wind is vicious here, at the moment. Stay warm!

I'm not understanding what the "central heating boilers " is all about. Are you talking about central air & heat in your home? It sounded like this was about being outside with a boiler. Please help me understand.

Thinking about it, I really meant a hot water tank; they often have red padded insulating jackets, like this.

ok I think I understand. We just call them hot water heaters here. Pictures speak a thousand words.
