Yesterday was dry, windy and cold, but since I had at last dug out my big padded jacket, getting up to the knee class was relatively pleasant. The coat is bright red and makes me look a bit like a central heating boiler walking around in its insulation, but the important thing about central heating boilers is that they are warm. The paths were dry and non-slippy, and even the walk up the hill to the hospital was rather pleasant. Definitely a case of the right clothes.
The knee class was quite strenuous but fun; half-a-dozen (mostly rather large) middle-aged ladies struggling with a selection of gym equipment. I managed reasonably well, even on th bicycle and knee-bending machines, and despite warnings, didn't feel too stiff this morning.
By the time I had to head out again to the doctor's the wind had got up, and it was trying to snow. By the evening it was snowing hard, and lying, since the ground was so dry. Today there is about a couple of inches everywhere, which doesn't sound much, so I'm declaring today a duvet day. And now, back to the sofa...
