Happy Maytime weather

It's freezing (relatively), and I'm sitting here in my fluffy slippers, with the heating full on, trying to figure out what to pack for Paris tomorrow. What a pain with the lovely weather.
:/
It's not exactly cold down here but it is much colder than a few days ago.

They say that 40% of you voters don't know who to vote for (or more likely, aren't saying). The whole things depresses me because I see a return to the Tories. Ergh....we'll be paying for the museums again. OK, that's a facetious comment but since Span is headed towards conservative government again as well, it just depresses me. Avoiding the whole thing was indeed a good plan.

Have a lovely trip! Any plans to visit Major Places of Culture?

Well, the weather here is very pretty, but just surprisingly cold for May. Not raining, at least.

I really, really hope they don't get back in, although I have renewed my Museum Association membership (free entry to most things) just in case.

I suspect we'll just be pottering about. There is one especially pretty park I want to see, but in the interests of my knee, I think we'll avoid the Louvre - it always makes me feel a bit overwhelmed anyway. The g-d has a year's pass, and goes in for an hour or so every so often, which is probably the best way to do it.

I am definitely going to write a folk song along the lines of "As I walked out one cold wet May morning"
