Stayed up ridiculously late to listen to the American election results on the BBC world service (insomnia involves a lot of late-night solitaire playing), and the reporter from some Democrat election party has just said that Obama had held Iowa (and probably Ohio), and they had started to play "Signed, sealed, delivered" Yay!

So now I'm off to bed

Just back from a final shop, mainly to pick up stuff the g-d ordered, but also to test-drive a new coat, because it would be awful if it turned out to be an Unlucky Coat and I wore it on holiday. It's freezing (relatively), and I'm sitting here in my fluffy slippers, with the heating full on, trying to figure out what to pack for Paris tomorrow.
