Busier and happier this week, maybe because the sun has been shining. Although temperatures are definitely up on January, the spring cold somehow seems more penetrating than winter cold, and my hands have been very dry and cold, so that I had to unearth my hot-wax treatment device for them. Otherwise, I've been reasonably busy, and successfully ( Read more... )

Pulled side muscles are very painful. Or perhaps it's a spasm which is even more painful. Heat will help.

Our second clear day and night in a row has meant that the night temperatures have plummeted and the house is FREEZING this morning. Typing is keeping my fingers warm as the rest of me shivers.

I hope you wake up as pain free as possible. But give it time. My back spasms now and then and it takes a few days to relax.

It feels a good bit better today, and I did finally get some sleep, so I'll just mind it for a day or so. It worried me mainly because I've never had pain in my side like that, although I did have something similar in my back years ago.

The cold nights are definitely a downside of clear skies - I'm sure I felt colder last week than I did in January. Keep warm!

Hope you have woken up with the pain eased this morning. Those side pains can be very uncomfortable. I find a hot water bottle is a great comfort for many ailments :-)

Dreary again today. I was spoilt by those few days of sunshine, bah!

I have a new hoover, too!

The hot water bottle definitely helped, and I'm sitting here with it now, It's rather grey here too, but at least not as cold. I'm tempted to put my tender plants outside, but it's probably too early, so it's just as well I can't lift anything for a while.
