I seem to always be nattering on about the weather, but this is England, so there you go. We've had two days of pretty hot weather and now it's gone back to being pleasantly cool. I don't take heat too well, so spent a lot of time lying on the sofa sweating feebly

You´re having the most unbalance summer climate-wise. It´s hot and muggy here and that just drags me down so much. I don´t do heat and humidity well at all.

I´ve had a longing to go on the London Eye for quite some time but Manolo is one of those cowering on the floor in the middle of the pod guys. He´s not afraid flying but he is afraid of heights that feel and look like heights.

The weather turned last night and suddenly got much cooler - today was sunny and warm, but not at all hot or muggy. God knows what tomorrow will be like!

The London Eye isone of those touristy things that I've never got round to doing just because I live here. Apparently it was hellish hot in the pod yesterday, so I'm glad I didn't go. I do rather fancy going on a winter evening, and seeing the lights go on, though.
