AMG, EXCITED TO START SAVING UP FOR ALLI'S PARTY IN MARCH. I don't know how many other people are going to go and if no one goes but me, I won't care. I just want to see Alli. <3 I have mild reservations about her seeing me IRL and thinking that I'm too fat, too ugly, not interesting enough, too socially inept, etc., but my desire to see her ( Read more... )

AMG, I WISH YOU COULD COME WITH ME, BUT IT'S RIGHT IN THE FUCKING MIDDLE OF YOUR SCHOOL YEAR. It's just that planes are so complicated, imo, and I like simple. ..imo.

I'm not sure where you're going geographically but like.. yeah, when I was looking at train vs plane, train was actually like ~150-200$ more expensive than a plane ride there and back. :S It's best just to price the two within the time you're planning to go I think. Trains also take more time usually.. but again, that depends on where you're going and if there's some express route or not.
GOOD LUCK!

amg, it's just because planes are so much more complicated, what with connecting flights and potentially have to pay for hotels for the night, being in the air if there's an emergency.. and I don't know whether or not you need a passport for a train to Texas (which is where I'm going). Chances are that you DO need a passport, but idk, trains just seem a lot less complicated. However, I'm not really willing to pay an extra +$200 for convenience. Where did YOU go that was train vs. plane?

Well.. at first I was googling Winnipeg (obv. for a stopover asskicking)but ultimately I wanted to go to like.. BC/Alberta border area. I also was supposed to go to like.. around Quebec with an ex-best friend, but so glad I didn't get screwed into that. If anything would have happened to me, I'm sure she would have left me for dead without a second thought. Lol ( ... )

amg, I would owe you my LIFE for that. I'm really bad at looking things up on the Internet.. I don't know why, it just completely overwhelms me and I never know where to look. It's weird that the more connecting flights there are, the cheaper the ticket is. I wonder why that is? This mystifies me to no end.
