YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN YOUR BATTLE. I've been trying to get healthy for a while, but it ends up being a yo yo situation :/ so you're not alone ok :) it sucks ass, but it is worth it :) FIST PUMP. (Reply) (Thread) (Link) Delete
But yeah, you've been doing such a really good job! Whenever I'm over and like YEAH PIZZA AND COOKIES :D :D :D you're like "Nooo D: salad D:" and you do a very good job. And you look fantastic, phroooww *purr*
Well I'll agree with you. Being an adult sucks. I spent my thirties being one but now I think in my forties, I've given it up for good.
One thing about being old though is it gives you perspective on your health. Spending time with my MIL was like a slap in the face "here's what can happen to you by the time you're 70" EEK.
So now I'm back to the OMG HEALTHY EATING AAAHHHH and walking AHHHHH. I did ok today. Only two really fattening peanut butter cookies. And some hot chocolate. errr....oh bother!
My point is that I really care about you and want you to succeed. It can happen, but slowly. If you're used to eating three hamburgers and six pieces of pie, y'know, cutting down to two hamburgers and five pieces of pie is perfectly alright :D Don't be too hard on yourself! Take it slow.
Tomorrow is always a new day. And, the better you treat yourself, the more tomorrows you (and I) are both going to be able to enjoy. We should support each other on twitter eh? (unless you want me to shut up, I can do that too....)
If you are really uncomfortable going to the Christmas party, don't go. I don't see the point in going if it's going to make you miserable and uncomfortable and you're going to dread it. Maybe I'm just not that ambitious of a person but I don't think going to a party with a bunch of people you barely know yet is going to make your employment experience better. XD I'm guessing your parents might think that if you get friendly with your employers they might turn your temp job into a permanent one, which ... I dunno. Could happen, but probably not, and one Christmas party isn't going to make that much of a difference. It's not worth giving yourself so much tension over
