Did anybody ever have an issue with an S/O while Transitioning

For the most part, I've been fortunate to be surrounded by people who were accepting of my transition. I knew my friends wouldn't be trouble, not that I didn't worry a little, but my circle of friends has always been very open-minded. Likewise, with my partner, while I had some moments of paranoia, he was supportive from the very beginning and constantly expressed that my transition wouldn't be a problem in our relationship. I was less sure about my coworkers, but I spent a lot of time working with manager, our HR person, and the upper management in our office to ensure that I would at least be treated professionally. They didn't want trouble, I didn't want trouble - it's all worked out. There are few coworkers, who, two years later, are still uncomfortable around me and don't talk to me as much as they used to, and there are a few who still can't get pronouns correct, and I've occasionally heard my old name a few times in the last couple months -- but no one has been openly hostile or blatantly disrespectful. wow, thats cool. yes u were really lucky, i hope the rest of the people i tell are understanding. Im talking to an Ex right now as i type this and she keeps saying "No don't do it dumb ass" im like well im doing it. She doesnt like it. But oh well, i am ME and im gonna be Me regardless of what people say. So oh freakin well. lol. But im happy for you. People took it well and you didnt have to go thru the bullshit. cool. UnO

Just saying hey, noticed you friended me and thought to leavea comment.

The only experience I've had thus far with friends.. is one person I went to Highschool with calling me a pervert.. now was she close? In highschool she was, but not much after 1st semester SR year... so it depends I guess.
