I had trouble buying grrrls shoes because I had big narrow feet. Still kind of have the same problem.Thoughthelength ofmy feetfitsinto men's sizes well, my feet are still narrow, which makes it virtually impossible to find shoes that actually fit.
I deal with itby buying them a bit bigger and wearing two pairs of socks, or by putting in insoles. Should work for anyone, really, regardless oftheir shoe issues. If your feet are smaller, try using a really good pair of insoles (like http://www.rxsorbo.com/index2.html).
Has anyone else noticed thehuge size differences between men's dress shoes and athletic shoes? In running shoes I wear a men's 12 but in dress shoes sometimes I can fit as small as a 10.5.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it due to my propensity to shop discount stores?
I felt I should clarify my answer to the second questions -- I HAVE bought shoes bigger than my size, I just don't stuff them. usually I'll buy about a half-size larger because I like arch support inserts, which take up extra room. then sometimes I'll go up another half-size just because i like having bigger looking feet.
I put in that question about stuffing because I've thought about it recently to give me bigger looking feet. So, I was just wondering if other guys had done it. Inserts are a good idea, I think I'll look into that.
