how do you all feel with the way he explained things in the interview?

I also think that in the long run this is going to do so much for the community that while, yes it may make some people "sad, angry and frusterated" in the short term, it's what we've been fighting for for all these years, to be HEARD. jesus christ, some people are just way too picky, i think! Sure, Will and Grace was never the way the gay community wanted to be seen but it was SOMETHING, and it opened a dialog. I think that Beatie is so awesome and strong for doing this and I don't think that he did this without thinking about how it would affect other people.
But the most wonderful thing about this whole incident and the shock and approval/disapproval of it all is that, hey, in the end, your approval is not necessary for him to live his life how he wants. And that, i believe, is what America is all about.

what i wanted to try to convey with it though is important. i really cannot believe that people are seemingly just closing their eyes to the legal ramifications at hand here.
