...exactly what John Barrowman said about the title of this horror/comedy-movie: SHARK ATTACK 3 - MEGALODON. Really, I'm not kidding, it is definitely a comedy. Just saw it and laughed my ass off. Every cliche you could have in a movie like this: name it, it's in it! Plus dialogue so terrible you wouldn't believe, crappy FX and actors who really ( Read more... )

Not a big fan of genre-parody movies (inadvertent or otherwise), but this sounds like a must-have -- wishlisted, thanks!

Isn't it awful?? The baseball bat! The FACES he made while whapping the shark! God, I could just watch John Barrowman make funny faces all. Day. Long.

And it's not only the worst pickup line in movie history, it's the worst-delivered pickup line in movie history. He couldn't possibly have said that with less feeling.

But the butt in the wet suit? Worth it all.

P.S.--wouldn't you just love to see RiffTrax MSTie this film?

Oh yes, his faces in the baseball bat-scene are hilarious (especially after he loses the bat and is in danger of being eaten himself)!
About the pick-up line: I guess that happens when an actor (John) only wants to make a (lame) joke and a stupid director decides to use it in the movie. I might just check what else that guy directed - see if it's all that dreadful :D

It was definitely the directing that made the movie so awful. Yeah, I heard the story about the line just being made up to get SOMETHING out of that godawful "actress", too.

But, yeah, the best bit was the guy just jumping into the shark's mouth. I thought I was going to choke laughing!

What's your pedantry quote from? Is that a Who quote? I see you're a Nine fan. me too, I love me some Nine!

I only discovered the movie when I watched JB on the Jonathan Ross show. Had to watch it of course.
The bottle of wine is a good idea (and the trash-loving friends) - being in a slightly relaxed state can only help enjoying that movie even more XD
