The www.cars.gov website now has a listing of participating auto dealers. So far only a few in the area where I am are "approved"--including the place where I met Moonshine. I don't know if we'll go back there to trade in Dodgepodge. Depends on Dad and what he wants.

My father's best friend from childhood was laid to rest today. Dad couldn't travel to his hometown in time to make the funeral so I'm a little depressed for him.

The IRS rejected my tax return...again! I do my best to play by their rules and this is what I get. Grr.

I found out from MSN today that the deadline for people to receive their Economic Stimulus payments from the IRS is nearly here, and how to verify the status of your claim if you hadn't received your check by now.

I did the verification, and found that yes, I did NOT qualify, as my income in 2007 was too low.

I would have just blown that money.FP

Today I burned off the remainder of my 2007 Tax Refund by buying four pair of trousers at the VF Outlet store, Governor's Crossing plaza, Sevierville. Gray, "natural" carpenter's, black and brown. Yes, I have a problem with blue jeans.

I may pose for pictures once I find a competant photographer.
