The AP reported today that insurance mega-taxmoney gobbler
AIG is
planning to pay out $150+million in bonuses.
AIG is one of those things I just can't let go, so I had to write my House and Senate representatives about AIG again and voice my extreme displeasure about this.
The way I look at it, these execs at AIG deserve no "bonuses" or other compensation above their already hefty incomes. And honestly, what is the worst that can come from these people not getting extra money? If lost their homes, then guess what? They would be just like other people, in that
274,000+ homes in the US went into foreclosure in January. Horror of horrors, AIG execs might have to downgrade and live in a less expensive house or apartment. There is zero chance these people will end up homeless.
AIG is one of those companies that will get put in the "
Enron" pile: examples of how not to run a company.
